THE ULTIMATE KENYAN FITNESS SAFARI
This journey to Kenya is a physical fitness experience designed to send you home both well rested and in optimum physical condition. Though weight loss is not the focus of this trip, it is an added bonus and you will feel amazing after two weeks of healthy eating and fun physical activities out. The journey begins with a nine-day kick-start on Kenya’s coast where you will enter a fun and challenging work-out program with private trainers. Your healthy menu throughout this safari is based on a delicious Paleolithic menu of fresh fish, fruits and vegetables as well as lean meats. The menu is void of processed foods such as wheat, refined sugars and dairy products. After the active kickstart at the coast, you will travel to Shompole for four days of spa therapy, active recovery exercise and some wildlife safari. Wildlife viewing is part of morning walks and hikes with your own Maasai guide. From Shompole you will venture to the island of Lamu and spend four days doing yoga and a variety of optional ocean sports such as kite-surfing, wind surfing, snorkeling and diving.

This is a group safari for eight or more individuals and is guided by a professional photographer who will work with you as a class throughout your journey to help you create your own photographic portfolio of Africa. The safari is an education experience on many levels in which you will learn about African wildlife by first hand experience studying and photographing it. The itinerary is designed to offer you optimum photographic opportunities by observing wildlife with the assistance of professional game trackers, working in optimum natural light time frames, and creating sensitive portraiture by meeting local people in an environment where you will have to an opportunity to spend real time in villages off the tourist track and connect with the people whom you meet.
